As far as the repair works is concerned then first of all check the number of frozen pipes. If there is one common main pipe then close the water incoming valves and open the taps related to the frozen pipe. If you find any crack or burst pipe then we have to fix it first of all.

Repair the pipe. Use a garden hose, old inner tube, or any form of rubber clamped over the damaged pipe until you can call a plumber to fix it properly. Rubber or still strips can help you for that. Make sure, you don’t damage the pipe.

In order to increase the water temperature, use some heating element like hot air flow. Beside this, we can use hair drier which is easily available at home. Don’t aim the heating element only at one point. Otherwise it may cause to produce steam at that point inside the pipe and chances of bursting or cranking increases.

Plastic pipes should be cut from the joint and replaced with a new piece exactly of the same length. Use any solvent to seal the gap completely. Handle the tools carefully because plastic may crack from somewhere else during this operation.
